MIB1 (mind bomb homolog 1) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase which is mainly responsible for ubiquitination of the NOTCH (neurogenic locus notch homolog) ligands and thereby promotes endocytosis of the NOTCH ligands. Mutations in MIB1 are associated with disturbance in NOTCH signaling and results in left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC).
