General description
G6PD(6-磷酸葡萄糖脱氢酶)基因定位于人染色体Xp28且长度为16.2kb。一个G6PD单体由515个氨基酸组成,预测分子量为59,256Da。活性酶以二聚体形式存在,并包含与其紧密结合的NADP分子。
Biochem/physiol Actions
G6PD(6-磷酸葡萄糖脱氢酶)酶可催化6-磷酸葡萄糖氧化为6-磷酸葡萄糖酸内酯,从而将NADP还原为NADPH。因此,它催化了己糖单磷酸途径(HMP)的第一步。由于它负责6-磷酸葡萄糖的氧化,因此赋予了针对红细胞氧化损伤的保护作用。它的缺乏是高度异质的,据报道有大约190个变体。G6PD的缺乏是在研究溶血性贫血时发现的。G6PD还可导致遗传性非球囊性溶血性贫血。
