Application
Evonik Noblyst® P1109 5% Pd is a palladium on carbon catalyst. It has been shown to be effective in the following reactions:
- hydrogenation of alkenes and alkynes to alkanes
- hydrogenation of nitriles to amines and aldehydes
- hydrogenation of aromatic carbonyls to alkyls
- hydrogenation of heteroaromatics
- hydrogenation of aldehydes and ketones
