General description

脑心浸液肉汤适合用于培养各种苛养（难养）病菌，包括酵母和霉菌。这款培养基营养丰富且缓冲良好，可支持多种微生物的生长，例如链球菌、肺炎链球菌、脑膜炎球菌等。尤其适合培养血浆凝固酶试验中的葡萄球菌(Staphylococci)和建立血液培养物。加入腹水可以培养淋球菌。琼脂可促进微好氧菌和厌氧菌的生长。加入10%脱纤维羊血，可用于分离培养荚膜组织胞浆菌等病原真菌。酶解动物组织和脑心浸液为微生物的生长提供了氨基酸、氮源、碳源、维生素和矿物质。葡萄糖提供糖类，氯化钠维持培养基渗透平衡。磷酸二钠作为缓冲剂。

Application

脑心浸液肉汤适合用于培养苛养病原微生物，常用于水、废水、肉类和食品的检测。已用作肺炎链球菌(Streptococcus pneumonia)、单增李斯特菌(Listeria monocytogenes)、利什曼原虫(Leishmania promastigotes)和艰难梭菌(Clostridium difficile)的培养基。
