General description
肺表面活性物质是磷脂和蛋白的混合物，具有表面活性，由II型上皮细胞分泌进入肺泡腔。表面活性剂中存在四种蛋白质，即SP（表面活性剂蛋白）-A，SP-B，SP-C或SFTPC和SP-D。SFTPC是一种疏水性蛋白，作为前蛋白产生，并经过翻译后修饰以去除其NH2和COOH前肽。成熟的活性蛋白分子量为3.7 kDa。前蛋白由197个氨基酸组成，仅由2型肺泡（AT2）细胞产生。SFTPC包含BRICHOS域，建议使用该域来防止肽的聚集并调节SFTPC前蛋白的蛋白水解过程。该基因位于人染色体8p21。

Biochem/physiol Actions
