Biochem/physiol Actions
TRAF6（TNF受体相关因子6）是一种E3泛素连接酶，高度参与TGFβ-调节的信号级联，以及NF-κB信号转导调控。它通过Lys63-连接的多泛素化修饰TβRI胞内结构域，刺激TGFβI型受体(TβRI)。TRAF6也可通过蛋白水解剪切TβRI的胞内结构域，并将其导向细胞核，促进肿瘤侵袭。TRAF6可调控天然和适应性免疫应答，直接参与免疫系统调节。研究显示，它可影响结肠癌细胞增殖，在结肠癌中表达上调。因此，有建议将TRAF6作为结肠癌治疗的潜在靶点。
