The protein may modulate nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κb) pathway in apoptosis, which is induced by anti-cancer chemotherapeutic agents. It functions as a Monad binding protein. This protein regulates apoptosis and small nucleolar ribonucleoparticule assembly process.
