Anti-PKR antibody produced in rabbit

EIF2AK2 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 α kinase 2) is an intracellular protein that is also called as RNA-dependent protein kinase (PKR). It belongs to the eIF2α family of protein kinases. The protein contains two RNA binding domains and a kinase domain. The PKR gene is localized on human chromosome 2p22-p21.

PKR antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to 14 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human PKR.

Anti-PKR antibody produced in rabbit has been used in Western Blotting.

EIF2AK2 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 α kinase 2) plays a key role in antiviral responses promoted by interferons. It is involved in stress response and inflammation pathways.
