General description
The microbial degradation of tributyl phosphate was carried out using Klebsiella pneumoniae S3 isolated from the soil. The solubilization behavior of TBP in aqueous solutions was studied using light and small angle neutron scattering (SANS).
Tributyl phosphate (TBP) is an organophosphate compound widely used as an extraction solvent, flame retardant, and plasticizer.
Tributyl phosphate (TBP) is an organophosphate compound widely used as an extraction solvent, flame retardant, and plasticizer.
Application
Tributyl phosphate (TBP) was used as defoamers and/or plasticizers, in fuel reprocessing and extraction.

Tributyl phosphate (TBP) has enormous applications in the field of extraction, fuel reprocessing, as defoamers and/or plasticizers. Excessive usage of this organophosphorus compound, poses an environmental threat. The present study deals with microbial degradation of TBP using Klebsiella pneumoniae S3

We have studied the solubilization behavior of tributylphosphate (TBP) in aqueous solutions of L64-Pluronics, using light and small angle neutron scattering (SANS). Varying the temperature and the oil content, the system presents a nontrivial phase behavior. In particular, at 308
