General description
Benzo[a]pyrene-d12 is an isotope-labeled analog of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon benzo[a]pyrene, wherein all the carbon attached protons (C-H) are replaced by deuterium atoms.
Application
Benzo[a]pyrene-d12 can be used as a stable isotope internal standard for the quantification of benzo(a)pyrene content in specific food samples using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.

Distribution and Sources of Petroleum Hydrocarbons in Recent Sediments of the Imo River, SE Nigeria.
Inyang O Oyo-Ita et al.
Archives of environmental contamination and toxicology, 70(2), 372-382 (2015-11-08)
The distribution of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons in surface sediments of the lower course of the Imo River (Nigeria) was investigated to determine the sources and fate of these compounds. The aliphatic fraction is characterized by a widespread contribution of

Marine pollution bulletin, 97(1-2), 217-223 (2015-06-16)
This work investigates the dependence of the sampling rate (Rs) of semi-permeable membrane devices (SPMDs) on flow rate and temperature. The in situ Rs values were obtained using performance reference compounds (PRCs) with weighted polynomial regression and used to estimate
