General description
Gum rosin is an exudate gum, which is extracted from pine trees. It consists of abiatic acid, palaustric acid and neoabetic acid.
Application
Gum rosin has been used:
- for the preparation of testosome patches
- to study its influence on the physical stability of concentrated oil in water emulsions
- for the preparation of rosin nanoparticles containing hydrocortisone (HC)
