General description

Desalkylflurazepam, also known as N-desalkyl-2-oxoquazepam, is a long-acting metabolite of the benzodiazepine drug flurazepam. Flurazepam is sold unde the trade names Dalmane and Dalmadorm for the treatment of mild to moderate insomnia. This internal standard is designed for the quantitation of flurazepam levels in urine or plasma by LC/MS or GC/MS for urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or isotope dilution methods.
