Description

General description

A non-steroidal phytoestrogenic isoflavone found in soy-based food products. Has been shown to interact with human estrogen receptor with relatively low potency. Induces mammary gland proliferation in mice. Inhibits lecithin peroxidation induced by hydroxyl radicals. Also acts as a selective inhibitor of γ-isoform of alcohol dehydrogenase.

A phytoestrogenic isoflavone found in soy-based foods. Displays potent antioxidant properties and acts as a selective inhibitor of the γ-isoform of alcohol dehydrogenase. Shown to interact with human estrogen receptors with low potency. Induces mammary gland proliferation in mice.
