General description
Analytical standards such as melting point standard 47-49 °C, benzophenone facilitate the determination of identity or purity of chemical compounds. The mp value is measured as an average of 6 to 12 measurements with a Büchi B-545 instrument that is calibrated against primary standards. The melting point is determined by Capillary method, as described in European Pharmacopeia (2.2.14.).
This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food. Find all available reference materials for compounds listed in 10/2011 here
