Application

A selective medium for the isolation and enumeration of enterobacteria.

Preparation Note

Suspend 39.5g in 1 litre of distilled water and let soak. Bring to the boil to fully dissolve the powder. Sterilize by boiling for 1 minute with frequent agitation. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Prolonged heating in thermostatic bath could cause slight precipitates.
