苯基-2,4,6-三甲基苯甲酰基次膦酸锂(LAP)是一种水溶性、细胞相容的I型光引发剂,可用于水凝胶或其它聚合物材料的聚合。因为其更高的水溶性、在365nm光下的更快的聚合速率、以及在400nm处的吸光度(可实现可见光聚合),该光引发剂优于Irgacure 2959,更适用于生物学应用。改进的聚合动力学使细胞能够在较低的引发剂浓度和较长波长的光下进行封装,这已被证明能够降低引发剂毒性并提高细胞活力。
