降低弹性蛋白的酶，弹性蛋白是参与拉伸过程的组织的基质成分。它是一种具有广泛特异性的丝氨酸蛋白酶。它切割小疏水性氨基酸（如 Ile、Gly、Ala、Ser、Val 和 Leu）的羧基侧的蛋白质。该酶还水解酰胺和酯，例如 N-苯甲酰基-L-丙氨酸甲酯。
