General description

Application
小麦来源凝集素已用于：
- 与N-羟基琥珀酰亚胺（NHS）染料偶联
- 抑制核输入
- 抑制人类宫颈癌HeLa和SiHa细胞的核孔
Biochem/physiol Actions
具有四个结合位点的小麦凝集素对N-乙酰基-d-葡糖胺和N-乙酰基-d-神经氨酸（唾液酸）残基具有特异性。凝集素也起杀真菌剂的作用。它们还具有抗营养作用。
WGA 不具有血型特异性，但具有与 N-乙酰基-β-D-葡糖胺残基和 N-乙酰基-β-D-葡糖胺低聚物的亲和性。WGA 不含蛋白结合糖。
