Biochem/physiol Actions
表皮生长因子（EGF）是 EGF 样生长因子家族的成员，与 EGF 受体结合。EGF 增加骨髓基质细胞（BMSC） 的增殖和迁移，从而产生成骨细胞、软骨细胞和脂肪细胞。它可以阻断胃酸和胃蛋白酶的分泌，增强胃肠道细胞的增殖。它作为各种培养细胞的强有丝分裂因子。该基因的突变与低镁血症有关。
